If you are not crafty, buying them is often inexpensive, rarely are they more then $2.  You can buy them at local museums, bookstores and stationary stores.  Many post offices also sell postcards.  If you want to support independent artists you can buy them at holiday craft fairs or on Etsy.  The postcard itself is not as important as sending something and making our voices heard.
